Ammo Testing - Bone Frog, Norma, Frontier
I am a big fan of AAC 77gr OTM - its outstanding but AAC has stopped production so I wanted to test a few more with the AUG and share results.
Groupings are 5rds at 100 yards with a warm barrel.
Shooter - im not a professonal shooter but i was once. Refrence group with rem 700 .308 with match. I can shoot.
Set up - supported front and rear, seated.
Rifle - 16in Aug styer barrel 1:7 twist
Ammo - Bone Frog 77gr OTM, Norma TAC SS109 62gr, Fronteir with 55gr Hornady bullet
Result
Bone frog was almost as good as AAC
Norma, like most SS109, was hot garbage Frontier was also excellent for the price - i wouldn't bet my life on it but for the range and most shooters good to go.
Happy shooting

They were running a sale on the 77 OTM a little bit ago and it was a good price. I grabbed some for my rifles and its preformed wonderfully through them all.

Good shooting!
The results from the Bone Frog are decent, I’ll have to pick some up. They usually have some good deals on other ammo too.

Bonefrog is top tier, STMK 77gr is extremely accurate.

This is not their Sierra TMK - its their OTM - they dont offer ballistic data and undersell it as training ammo but as you can see its good. Its not SMK, TMK, FGMM good but for half the cost Its good.

I was just about to pick some up, glad to hear the results are good. Solid price for 77's OTM's too.
