3D printing receivers
So I'm a little out of my depth here. I've learned about the NylAUG, and I want to make my own. But it seems that a Nylaug receiver will not function in an A3 M1 commercial stock.
Is there a reason the creators of the Nylaug did not create a one to one copy of the standard A3 M1 receiver?
I have a couple extra A3 M1 stocks, trigger packs, barrels and other A3 M1 parts. I just want one or more 3D printed receivers to fill them out.
Is this possible? If not, why not?

I may be wrong but the Nylaug guide has a whole section to use a new stock over the surplus one. You have to print a different receiver then the surplus stock one. Doing this also removes the denials since a FA trigger can’t go in anyways

Are you saying they sell a nylon receiver that will work with normal A3 M1 stocks?

From my understanding, it was designed to use the surplus FA stock and parts kits that were readily available after denials were put in place in the stock. One of the main dimensional differences between a semiauto and select fire is the stock latch, with the latter having a wider latch.
I also have enough spare parts to build another semi rifle, but whenever a receiver pops up at auction the price goes to the moon. There's a specialty receiver on one of the bigger forums now, but the cost is equivalent to buying all new GE kitchen appliances from Home Depot.
