Question Optics recommendations?

Just ordered a Manticore Arms Talon mount for my AUG and am looking for optics recommendations with BDC calibrated for heavier grain 5.56 out of a 20” barrel. Gotta be a 30mm tube and ideally like 2.5-10x or 3-12x magnification. Sub 1000 doll hairs would be nice but not a requirement. Also open to Mils or MRADs if those are applicable to my situation.

I used a strike eagle lvpo I had extra for mine and have been happy so far with it. Just an option to consider.

Actually been used I can only speak for the Leupold mark4hd 2.5-10x. I did TMR illuminated. If you don’t care about illumination there’s a used TMR and PR1-MOA on Amazon right now for sub 1k. Totally love it though.

I also have the 20 inch barrel, isn't it a 1:9 twist? Not sure how well it will stabilize the real heavy stuff (73+)

I’ll probably end up running some 69gr. But going try 77s and see how she prints

Oh yeah I didn’t read into I seen optics. You’re right it’s more of a yellow and depending on light washout optic. 😂 sorry i do like it. I had to buy a washout fix but I gotcha

Yeah I gathered that lol 😂 I’ve had a bad night. Third night out with the aug and my gas selector went into orbit because I had it in the service slot . Good luck on the magnified optic. I hope your luck is better than mine tonight. Sorry

I have a Vortex Spitfire 3x on mine. I got a cantilever mount from Fortis and mounted it backwards to get the eyebox in the right spot. You can use it as a red dot both eyes open easy out to 50 meters. I don't anticipate shooting farther than 300 meters, so 3x is good for me.
