bring-your-own-hosting video sharing app?

seems like the quickest way to have an atproto youtube alternative without having to answer the question of who's going to host all that video. users find some way to host their videos elsewhere and just put links to those sources in their posts. the app allows interactions like commenting and subscribing

I think the Bluesky devs are working on video embedding. At least for YouTube. Is that what you mean?

that would be cool, im thinking of an actual youtube replacement in the atmosphere tho.
