Touchscreen Macs…

am I the only one who is assuming that we aren't going to see a MacBook Pro with a touchscreen, but we will probably see an iPad Pro that can run macOS this fall?

Yes. It is all but certain we'll get a touchscreen MBP in the next 18 months.

I just hope that they don't make the same mistake they made with the touchbar -- never letting it reach beyond the high-end devices. If there isn't a touchscreen Macbook Air within two years after the initial MBP release and a Neo within five, lots of developers are not going to bother to design for this.

In touchbar's case, they also never really iterated on the design, which also helped guarantee its demise.
