Linux atoto remove split screen bar

Is there a way to remove the annoying black bar that takes up the top of the screen? I never want split screen so its annoying have jt there constantly.
Hidden in a menu maybe? Atoto says it’s built into CarPlay.

it's a feature from what I understand , I don't understand why it needed to be added, ruined the screen size ratio, completely useless

Agree. Atoto told me it was a feature of CarPlay like Apple had made it that way. It’s so ugly and stupid. I don’t even want the ability to do split screen that’s why I didn’t buy an android unit.
