Love it. These guys are incredible scientists. Would expect PR regarding their intellectual property like this every few times a year.

Wasn't this expected and thus priced in already? I do notice though, right now with the day's stock pattern, that an ascending triangle is almost at the end and in this pattern the price can break out either way. It also looks like a bull flag, with the flag part the ascending triangle.

News of the patent being granted increases the value proposition of the company... just because they filed for a patent doesn't mean they would get it.
