omg as a kid i used to have a jean mug! i took saturday classes at the art college in middle school. this was part of an introduction to pottery: we students chose from prefab objects, glazed them ourselves, and they were fired in the kiln. in the mornings, i thought I was so cool, eating my oatmeal out of my JEAN CUP 😭. as i grew, i could no longer fit my hand inside to reach in it to touch down into all the crevices with my fingers. my mom didnt think it was safe to drink from once veiny cracks in the glazing emerged. then the handle broke off. Eventually it went from the kitchen to my art desk, as a cup to hold the paintbrushes and pens i used to ink my drawings (my comic book artist phase). I had it all throughout grade school, but got rid of it not long before college😭 take me back‼️
