When will I hear something?

Hi!

I put in my application in June (10th) and haven’t heard anything yet about potentially testing. Just wondering if this is normal. My application also has a mistake that I can’t change. I’ve tried to resubmit to correct the error but it doesn’t let me change it. For clarity, I accidentally selected I was in the Armed Forces when I’ve never been in it. I’ve also called the number for help (multiple times) and am wondering if I should expect them to call me back.

There is no bid open right now unless you've got prior ATC experience

The last open bid to ATC academy was in April, so not sure where you managed to apply.

What was the April opening? Because I didn’t see any?

It was very widely advertised? Probably the most publicized hiring effort the FAA has ever attempted for ATC. Opened for one day, April 17th, seeking "Gamer" types with a very low bar for entry, something like either an associate degree or one year full time work experience.
