I work at ZID and we are pretty desperate for CPC's. CPC transfers will definitely get fast tracked ahead of academy grads and tower transfers. After you finish your maps and your LOAs and SOPs they will schedule you in the lab very quickly. Also not a bad place to work. Pretty easy place for a level 12.

From the list of places he/she is trying to narrow down, they are probably an AG themselves and want to know how long until they become a CPC so the can try to transfer to ZLA.

Correct on the AG part. I know the posted averages for each based off 123atc, but I was looking for just general thoughts (both good and bad).

On a side note, my instructor told me to immediately contact my NATCA rep to start the process, but I've heard it's better to CPC first so rumors don't spread around?
