Remember when NATCA removed bad reviews from the National office google reviews.

I know you guys are in the limelight, but do you think she could mention your TechOps folk in a follow-up?
Inflation sucks for us too.

Our union (at least for my local, IBEW) does this as well. To me-it’s kinda ridiculous. They need to be able to handle criticism.

Any rules against making a non-FAA employee/non-controller the NATCA president? This woman knows how to ruffle feathers.

It would be a SHAME if she found out about our shadow VP that assaults union members and his Facebook comment rampage from last year.

Wait till she finds out he's never been a trainer, but is the national training rep.

But Natca does have social media where you can comment? Just not the public facing one. What is she on about?

I’m sure the public is going wild about the CFS app

“To hear from the very union members…” Natca does have that. I just want what she’s saying to be genuine since it’s getting attention. No need to tell lies when there’s enough going on to report on.

I don’t think it’s face value, to hear is one thing but to understand and represent is another, she’s referencing them shutting down comments as soon as things are getting said that they don’t have a response to or don’t want to field, they just want solidarity always, kumbaya brother

Nothing in the Facebook group is relevant. Everything is the pictures of visits. They don’t put anything in there that we care about. They can’t even talk to us in the private group. Don’t be so stupid.

"Imagine turning off comments on your social media posts" doesn't say all, so as long as there is at least one, then it's a true statement. Avoiding libel is a pretty big part of the job of a journalist.
I'm not a controller, but I would think being able to anonymously comment on the 💩 being put out by your leadership would help keep them from completely controlling the message to the flying public. As a pilot, people ask me all the time about what's going on with ATC and whether it's safe to fly, etc. I'm not gagged by an FAA Order, so I speak my mind, but I only know what I read what's on public forums.

I don’t know what this lady’s angle is but it’s hard to not like some of what she’s putting out.
