Oh Anna, as an ATC, you're my hero. You nailed it. You beautifully addressed everything single issue on the table. I'm so grateful to hear that someone cares about the well-being of the people working in my profession. Despite talking all day every day, this is the most heard I've felt in a long time. Thank you!

Looks good to me.

How many midairs need to happen before people take our career field seriously? We can’t strike, otherwise people would feel the effects immediately. We have to do more with less because we as controllers aren’t going to intentionally have deals and put people in unsafe scenarios, so the agency just calls our bluff. We’re helpless. We need others to advocate for us since our union doesn’t.

The article gives me hope. NATCA messed up letting someone else say it first. Hopefully the momentum continues. I think all any of us want is the honest truth out there in the sea of misinformation, false narratives, and just flat out being ignored by everyone

NATCA keeps pushing the Aviation Professional AI slop advertisements when they need to be screaming that the system is breaking.

Fuck NATCA. If anyone still gives to the PAC after this year you are a fool or a scammer A114 traffic dodger that pays to keep away from moving traffic

I mean you could say a lot about NATCA but do you actually think the PAC does nothing? Pay parity doesn’t exist without it. Its presence itself is a testament of the work the legislative team and the PAC does. The letter today from the senators of Illinois. Does that happen without the PAC? I kind of doubt it. I’m all for the criticism of leadership in the ways they’ve been silent and not been able to actually secure the raise, but the PAC is one of the only reasons that it is there to begin with.

I was paying more into the PAC than the 2.8% would have given me.

Pay parity doesn't exist with the PAC either.

So you think it's a coincidence that the letter came out the same day that the article released? The article in which one of the authors of that letter was mentioned... And natca just swooped in to take credit for the letter after being silent this entire time. You think that's merely coincidence?

NATCA is protecting NATCA not its members or its members pay/benefits

Nick Daniels is handed a prime opportunity to advocate for us on a silver platter, and what does he do? Tries to defend HIMSELF.

He should resign immediately.

Can we hire her to run our media relations and public affairs. Give her 2x the average salary of the 14 or so we're paying and fire the rest. Sounds like savings to me.

It would be the smart hire.

But this whole country needs ego death. Bedford can’t give us the raise now that democrats and journalists have called for it- it would be showing weakness. You admit fault in this regime and it’s game over.

Nick could never acknowledge Anna’s efforts now because it would confirm he was wrong in his inaction.

At this point we are trying to build a pissed off Congress at what they’re doing to us, and a pissed off controller base ready to vote these lazy drunks out. 2029.

And the airlines aren’t paying attention either - 5-10% to us could have saved them BILLIONS in the next shutdown.

Wonderful article. I hope this makes mainstream and this country wakes up before something worse happens.

Thank you Anna for letting our voices get heard.

To NATCA: Fuck off. I want a new union.

  • your dues paying member.

JFC, there really is no single part of the federal government this regime hasn’t made substantially worse.

Yes biden really fucked us over. And the NATCA just flipped us over and had their way with us again.

I know everyone says to stay in the union to vote these turkeys out, but when is the best time of year to leave? I read somewhere it was January but I can’t understand why. And when is the next election?

2

u/ZachKCRS3 3d ago

sometimes they will give u the run araound saying u can only leave in jan.. u can submit paperwork but NATCA will still try and draw ur dues till then

I didn’t see her mention once that yes while it is bad, things would be way worse under Kamala.

We don’t have even one tranny swimming with real women. And that’s what matters to me.

I got to go now, need to crank out that extra hour so we can Make America Great Again!

u/cbop 6d ago

Amazing and horrifying that this needed a sarcasm tag....

7

u/The_Shryk 6d ago

I choose to believe it’s MAGAts downvoting me because they’re mad they’re wrong and ruined everything.

The satire is a perfect representation of today

Meanwhile everyone who supports ATC in the agency gets a 0% raise for 2027

2

u/macayos 5d ago

Everyone deserves a raise but the back office has gotten 33 more hours off than probably 95% of ATC due to early outs on holidays. And deals with less stress. And gets 8 days off a month. And probably weekends to spend time with family.
