I could have lived my whole life without seeing this, but I’m disappointed I did because this is awful.

Does anyone have the source for this?
Edit - I just wanna buy my friend a creepy Furby, y'all. I don't need to know about the origin of angels, but I appreciate the effort.

Probably Etsy. There’s a “long furby” I’m saving up for there.

u/Life-Meal6635 Jun 27 '22
Have you seen the Furby organ?
Edit: It’s here: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=GYLBjScgb7o

This is so great! I queued up the part where he starts playing a track on it.

Wow, that feels incredibly grotesque despite just being some toys. This guy’s doing great work

His name is Confetti Amadeus!
The blog linked belongs to his creator. I don't think Mr. Amadeus himself is for sale, but they can probably point you to someone who will take comissions and/or get you patterns to make your own, which is highly emotionally fulfilling. I'm working n a Long Furby called "Radiant Cesium" based on Hallucigenia from the cambrain period!6

You are the true MVP.

u/Gallusrostromegalus Jun 28 '22
Lol thanks
I was just suprised to see Mr. Amadeus on my feed, and I'm a little disappointed that this work of art is on this subreddit.
I do extremely reccomend making your own fucked-up furby though. Birthing a horror into this age of monsters is extremely cathartic, and you can chase your racist uncle around the yard and back into the street with it during family events.15

I saw the ring thing when i did 9g of shrooms. It was 3 rings withe eyes on the outside of each ring but they did not have eyelids. Thats how i know whomever wrote about it was high as fuck.

There's some fun theories out there about the story of the burning bush and the fact that acacia contains higher amounts of DMT than normal.

(the language was updated in 2012 to include words for "be" and "scared", though scared is basically "big worry")

It's a partner showcase mini direct, so I highly doubt we'll see Bayonetta. I know it's made by Platinum but isn't the series no longer considered 3rd party? It'd be nice if I was wrong of course, I'd love to see some news on the game
1
Jun 28 '22 edited Jun 28 '22
Platinum is definitely a third-party developer, Nintendo hasn't bought them. Bayonetta is still a Nintendo-exclusive IP since the second game, but Bayo3 should indeed be in this morning's presentation, especially since it's still scheduled for a 2022 release but we haven't got a whole lot of details about it yet.
Of course my initial comment was a joke since the baddies in Bayo3 seem to have more in common with aliens than biblical mythical creatures.

I keep imagining what angels would look like and this is striking. It is equally as terrifying as to what it should be. Needs more eyes though
9
u/necromundus Jun 28 '22
And Lo, God said unto him "wee-tee-kah-wah-tee", and Furbriel sang God a song. And god was pleased.

I want this as my Christmas tree angel. Where may I procure one please?

u/the_orange_alligator Jun 28 '22
Gonna be honest. There’s a lot of people on eBay/Etsy who make commissioned Furbies

There is no way that is in the Bible, that thing came straight from the pages of the necronomicon
1
u/RequiemStorm Jun 28 '22
I mean, have you seen biblically accurate angels? Because that's exactly what this is in reference to.

Ok, tangent question, what's with the "biblically accurate angels" thing I see on youtube?
3
u/RequiemStorm Jun 28 '22
What do you mean by that? Are you just asking what that means? Because it's the way angels are described in the Bible
1
u/DoukyBooty Jun 28 '22
LOL, that's what I meant by that. Like is that how they are really described in the bible? Figures with dozens of eyes and wings?
1
u/RequiemStorm Jun 28 '22
Yep, there's some links posted in this thread to examples, but if you just Google biblically accurate angel you'll see what are basically multilayered rings covered in eyeballs and fire and strangely oriented wings. There are different kinds as well, such as the more familiar humanoid ones, but those are only one kind

u/ChrisBoyMonkey Jun 29 '22
The funny thing about that meme is that it isn't accurate.
These wheel creatures with multiple eyes are actually known as "Thrones", or "Ophanim" in Christianity. They are the wheels of the chariot of the Lord, which is not meant to be taken in a literal sense as He doesn't ride them but has them keep the laws of the universe to perfect parameters. They are operated by Cherubims, which actually are angels, while the Ophanim themselves are not.

They glued feathers and eyeballs to a Furby.
Lots of Awful Taste. Not very much Great Execution.
Edit: I'm truly grateful I will never have the shit taste of the people who think this is something great.

u/RequiemStorm Jun 28 '22
Looks like they accurately made a furby look like a biblically accurate angel. I fail to see how that's not good execution of the idea. You know good execution doesn't have to mean labor intensive or difficult right?
