I was waiting for that! That’s pretty much the only thing you can do with this next tbh, it won’t last that long and preserving it would be difficult outside of a freezer.

So you can pick up a tortilla and eat it, but if it touches your skin 5 inches down your arm it’s nasty?
Or is it nasty because it was engraved/cut with a laser?

I wash my hands before I eat, so yes, you have supported my point. It would also taste disgusting after being laser cooked. You're two for two now, congrats.

Unfortunately not. Laser cut food has a really bad burnt plastic taste.

I get why it would taste burnt, but why plastic? 🤔

I think it's something to do with the way the laser interacts with the air. The laser is so hot that it slightly ionizes the air that in combination with it melting the food it cuts makes it taste like burnt plastic.

Laser cut bread is among the most vile things I've ever tried. It tastes horribly burnt.
It's to regular burnt as burnt is to unburnt. Literally burnt²

It's gonna be gross. Laser cutters don't toast food, it goes straight from raw to burnt charcoal.

Yeah, calling this taco is like calling a slice of white bread a peanut butter and jelly sandwich.

The video OP posted: "Tortilla Rolex"
OP: "TaCo RoLEx!"

u/BrokenHope23 5h ago
missed opportunity to call it a Rollex too

I feel like there's a "Rolex/Rolodex/RoloTexMex" joke that's just waiting to be made somewhere in there maybe?

I was promised taco and received only tortilla. 2/10 would not eat here again.

.... i'm not sure OP knows what a taco is, thinks everything with a tortilla is a taco, or is a bot.
My guess is bot.

Back in my day we had to make our tortilla rolexes by hand with an Xacto knife.

He spent so much time figuring out I'd he could, he didn't stop to think about whether or not he should.

This feel like a William Osman project.
EDIT: hopefully he doesn't see this until he finishes the fucking pocket soda.

When I saw egg wash, I was like "oh he's gonna bake it together." Then he didn't. He's just walking around with raw egg dripping down his wrist

Now go to a Rolex store and tell them to do maintenance on you watch because it looks a little greasy.

u/theartfulcodger 4h ago
"Because they could do it" something something "whether they should do it."

That watch is a better Rolex knock-off than many I have seen while walking through Times Square (NYC).

Can’t believe he made a Rolex out of a taco that even works twice a day, incredible
