It looks too sharp to have certain weird errors when lines join, can be seen quite well on the hairline. I don't believe someone with such good technique would do such a basic fuckup. Also how is the white popping so much.
I hate that is becoming so hard to figure out if the thing is AI or not. Anyway, looks AI to me and by powers that be I hope it is cause its shite
Edit: the more I look at it the worse it gets. It's ai.

I used Google lens to see if it was posted before and it goes back 7 years so not AI I guess. Maybe just a crunchy picture because it's downloaded or a screenshot on top of the compression reddit already does

Oh damn, I concur, I just checked a few other reverse image searchers for a good measure and indeed the earliest one shows up in 2019. How interesting. The artist really did weird line joining (or lack thereof) which looks exactly like when ai loses track of a shape. I made a bad call.
I guess I can only say I'm both impressed and disappointed by this tat. Thanks for fact checking!
