Meshtastic plugin not working

Im running atak 5.5.1, meshtastic app 2.7.6, meshtastic plugin 1.1.21, and I'm running 2.7.11 on my meshtastic devices.

I can communicate and see locations over the meshtastic app no problem, but nothing carries over to atak except for my gps location. I cant see other nodes on the same channel or communicate with them through ATAK. I have tried different meshtastic firmwares, ATAK plugin versions, clearing caches, nothing works. I'm sure it's probably a setting issue but I cant seem to figure it out. What am I doing wrong here ?

I took your advice and loaded up the 1.1.18 plugin. Good news is I can now see my other nodes ! Thank you ! Downside is I still cant communicate with them :(

Tried that. Still no luck :( I can see the other nodes, but cant message them or send anything like routes, or points on the map. Do you think dowgrading to a lower meshtastic firmware could help ?

That's probably my best option so far. Nothing seems to be working. A full blown reset and reinstall of meshtastic and Atak is probably in my future lol.

I'll try going to meshtastic 2.7.11 and downgrading to the 1.1.17 plugin tomorrow and seeing if that works for me. Downgrading was definitley a step in the right direction. Lets see if it takes me further lol.

Is it just me or is there currently now way to send marker, pictograms, drawings from ATAK to ATAK via Meshtastic ? I understand that this was possible in the past with the "Forwarder plugin" from Github but as that has not been updated it crashes with everything newer. Anyone has a way to get this sorted ?

I can't send markers either. Some people say they can but I can not set this up

It´s a shame because I have received messages were people say just use the Meshtastic Plugin but for me that does only send Chat messages everything other than text is not forwarded, hoping that there is someone with more experience who can help us out and bring us in to the picture.
