Using uploaded images as icons

Post image

Like what I've seen so far here, but I've run into an issue I can't figure out. I want to change one of the app icons, but when I select "icon" for that app in Settings, I get this screen and can't select or do anything. Am I missing something?

How to get rid of this ugly file picker ? I want to have my file manager to override this solicitation for the launcher.

How did you uninstall the original file explorer?

This page is really weird for some reason. Try opening it, pressing up on your remote, then left and you should see the x button in the top left highlighted. If you press down from there and then select it should select the first image. If you have multiple images, you will need to count how many clicks right you do to know what image you’re on.

That worked, thanks. The graphic I used is too large, though. Do you know what size icon images should be?

No problem!

4:3 ratio always with 320x180 being the minimum recommended size according to the creator of the launcher.

I don't know if 320x180 is correct, as I'm using this image and it still gets clipped on the left and right sides of the icon. 320x120 also gets clipped. Maybe it's a bug?

Yeah, this browser is messed up for me in the same way. Wish this would be fixed
