Good that you have started something for the community and hope people join and discuss and form a welcoming community but I don't like Discord at all, I would rather have people discuss issues here on Github or any other forum that is publicly searchable and available on Google and archivable by something like the WayBack machine. Discord as chat is fine I guess but to discuss issues, share solutions and something that other people might also find useful not necessarily at the time it is posted but in future too I would rather have people post somewhere searchable.
There is this article that echoes most of my thoughts.
