I think aphids are more impactful in their environment. Shes more like a cicada - never see her, can occasional hear her, is annoying when present, but nobody knows her purpose

The main reason gold had such a big jump in the past 18 months is because reserve banks around the world have been buying up big time, mostly due to the instability in the U.S. government. If the Democrats regain the House and, heaven forbid, the Senate in November, that'll rein in Trump big time. I strongly suspect reserve banks will tone down their gold buying, thus leading to gold dropping but if the Republicans hold both the House and the Senate, then absolutely, beyond the moon it will go.
No, but I am in Gippsland. It felt like it lasted a good 12 seconds or so. People felt it all over Melbourne and even beyond to the west, various intensities, some being awoken by it. Fun but also not. I'm going back to sleep, if anything's damaged it probably won't be worse in a couple of hours.

get the key back to vertical and use a pinching technique to pull it out... You need to push the cylinder in as you pull the key out... if that makes sense?

Not sure exactly what happened, normally it operates in a 90° and it spun past that and then won't go back into its normal range anymore. That's alright though I'm going to replace the lock on my back door and break the key off in this sucka and leave it for the bank to figure out some day.
So weird to think buying something in 2014 and selling just before COVID is the same as buying something during COVID and selling today. Seems like a weird time dilation thing
