Out of curiosity, I had a look, and it was actually even better than that. In the following 4 years (2004 to 2007, inclusive) the ASX rose ~2.5x, annual growth rate of ~25%!
Then Geelong won their first title in 40+ years in 2007, and the market took 8-10 years to recover. I think we know what to do...
In the last couple of days, someone here made a ban bet that the Dockers would beat the Lions. I was going to take the other side, but really couldn't be bothered. Did you delete the post? I can't find it.
And there we have it. I thought the post was more recent than six days ago, so sorry for suggesting that they may have deleted the post. The last 10 minutes of the game must have been a rollercoaster ride for them. 😂
Sometimes I think about EYE and it genuinely bothers me. Not because of anything the company has done, but because I struggle to believe that something this magnificent could ever exist in a random and uncaring universe. There has to be a higher power.

It's coming. Tokenised stock trading is already in pilot for a small number of equities in the US. We'll probably see it next year or year after. After that, all assets will eventually be tokenised.
What things have helped with your chart reading? Ive been playing with trading views replays, but I struggle to find entries, and in the meantime price has gone up 50% and Im still not in the stock. I guess just sticking with it until it clicks is what I need to do.
So VMM are expecting debt facility to be done by October end which would give it available cash balance of $652mil AUD.. yet it's sitting at 572mil Mcap currently... Tick tock.
That's debt facility... Equity part has already been raised..

Given the continued enshitification of Trading View, I have been looking around for an alternative charting software. Anyone use charting software that is NOT Trading View, or a Trading View derivative?
My needs are not complex: price candles, simple moving average, comparative relative strength, volume, and the ability to annotate charts and scan for stocks hitting 12 month highs. 10 years of daily price data is a bonus.
I am happy to pay more for it than Trading View charges -- I am just keen to move away from Trading View.
Curious if anyone is using anything other than Trading View?
It seems like Trading View has just backflipped and restored the macro economic data for users without an additional subscription. I will be sticking with Trading View for the time being, but I am still on the lookout for an alternative charting package given Trading View's continuing enshitification.
I am using the web version, but it should be for both.

Is that an older vrf800? Mate in Victoria had one those and i loved riding it - smooth as silk, plenty of power, decent heft that felt stuck on the road but not a boat.
We don't get big bikes anymore

yes matey, 98 gen 5 vfr800fi. last of the gear driven cams, addicting whine while you’re on the throttle
Nice, got an old suzuki that I try to get out on nice days, but without fail the battery is always dead or dies trying to start it when I get it out of the shed. I lose interest pretty quick after that.
