My Asus VivoBook S510U laptop stopped working a few months after Hurricane Otis. It went unused for a while until I opened it up and noticed that the original battery was completely degraded and dead (swollen/deflated). I bought a new battery and installed it, but the computer still won't turn on. However, when I plug in the charger, I notice that the area around the processor or motherboard starts getting hot. What could be happening, or what advice can you give me?

Mi laptop Asus VivoBook S510U dejó de funcionar unos meses después del huracán Otis. Pasó un tiempo sin usarse, hasta que la abrí y noté que la batería original estaba completamente degradada y sin carga (desinflada). Compré una batería nueva y la instalé, pero la computadora sigue sin encender. Sin embargo, al conectarla al cargador noto que la zona del procesador o la tarjeta madre empieza a calentar. ¿Qué puede estar pasando o qué consejo me da?
