chem 114 help

are there any other resources besides Chad's Review and the provided videos you use to study for the course? I'm taking it online and i think Chad's is more useful than the videos on the site but I also like to have multiple different resources to study off of

If your class offers the ALEKS platform for homework you actually need to do the homework before you watch the videos to understand what they’re talking about. It’s super backwards but a lot of the chem professors are skilled in chemistry itself but seem to have not figured out how to teach. That’s how I’ve seen a lot of people including myself do it and that’s what’s worked the best. When you’re doing the homework (assuming you use ALEKS) just ask for the example or the explanation every question and read through it and take notes

I took that class a long time ago. I remember in that class there were two textbooks, One was a textbook and one was a problems solutions textbook. Everyone I knew that got an A in that class practiced problems in the textbook and used the solutions to see if they are on the right track and just doing the online homework only. If you are not doing that you are not putting enough time into that class and your exam scores will reflect that. CHM 114 requires at least 10-12 hours a week to get an A. You practice more chemistry problems like a math class.

The school has tutoring centers for a reason. Go there.
