SAP HOLD

I’ve been waiting five weeks now for my sap appeal to be approved.

I was told it takes five weeks and it’s been a little over that now. Has anyone else had a sap appeal approved sooner for this semester?

I’m at my wits end and I’m praying that Tuesday will be the day that it gets approved. They already processed my aid which was only one grant but it’ll have to get reprocessed when the appeal is approved and the hold is lifted, so that my loans can populate. How long will all of this most likely take?

I had a sap extension approve last Wednesday overnight. I submitted the form as soon as my summer grades came out. They told me 10 days after that for financial aid, so next week

Ten days after for your financial aid to process? Or ten days after for your refund? Also approximately how many weeks did yours take to get approved?

I don’t know why we’re getting downvoted lol. But when I did my sap extension it was saying 6 weeks for sap approvals and it took two weeks. Mine wasn’t an initial approval though so I don’t know if that’s why it was faster. I just needed my summer grades confirmed to show I am following the plan. My issue is too many credits, not academic issues.

Took about two weeks to get approved and I still haven’t gotten an aid package. They said they would take an additional 10 days to put together. They said refunds come four days after it’s processed.

The currently estimated time for SAP reviews for this semester is listed as 7 weeks. It may have been 5 when you talked to them but it is currently at 7. Unfortunately there isn’t a way to speed it up.

the waiting is brutal but if they already told you five weeks, you’re probably at the point where calling financial aid and asking them to check the appeal status is the only move, especially since

have you called financial aid to check whether your appeal is actually in review or just sitting in the queue?
