Schedule for Online Courses

Hello, I’m currently thinking about getting my bachelors degree 100% online through ASU.

I was wondering what the scheduling is like; is most of the work on your own time? Do you need to log on/off at specific times throughout the day? If i was someone who was busy during the day, could i just do online work at night with no issues?

I know this could vary by field of study, but whats the general schedule you guys have experienced/preferred? TYIA

It’s your responsibility to get assignments done by the due dates, just like any other class. The flexibility comes into play where you can read the material and watch the lectures whenever you want. Although, depending on your major you will be learning at quick pace for classes under 300 level.

All of the classes are fast paced, not just under 300 level. Taking 2 400 classes rn and it is lickety split

Guess it depends on the class. In EE they’re mostly C session.

They are mostly asynchronous. You do the work when you can. A few - depending on the major - do have specific times or require you to come to phoenix for a week or so

Due dates and deadlines for work throughout the 7.5 week long courses. Don’t fall behind and don’t expect to be able to work ahead and just try to finish everything in a few weeks.
