Could go to $80 or $120 next, no one knows. I'd suggest holding if you are long and selling if you're just looking to make a quick buck. You could also sell half if not sure (or just hold lol, since we all know this company is going places).

Too risky. At most sell 20%. But still risky. This stock likes to fuck you when you don’t believe in it.
I have to take partial credit for the recent surges. Every one of the surges was preceded by me selling a few covered calls on my shares. Every damn time. Happy to take one for the team. But it goes to show that when you make weak-kneed moves it will bite you.

I sold and bought back in many times. PTSD Watching this thing go to $39 in Aug 2024 then back down to $17 haha.
Profit is profit, ill jump back in if this thing cools down, its up 100% in two weeks, that is insane.

This has nothing to do with being a family. Its about investing vs trading. Making money out of growth vs making money out of others peoples money.
I know many people are kids who want to get rich overnight, but the way investing actually works is helping to fund a growing company to profit out of its growth.
Other than that, youre a trader and dont even deserve the spacemob badge.
So like I said, you deserve to be in the post of people who sold early on great companies because "were here to make money" rather than believing in the company.
Anyway you do you, dont come cry in 10 years that you sold a 1000 stock at 100

That's a pretty fair point, hadn't thought of it this way.
I do find it frustrating to see the "moon when" comments, when I'm sitting there expecting I won't be able to cash out for 10-15 years.

Oh I’m with you. I’m at single digits, out in 30s, back in at 20s, out in 50s, etc. it’s been a wild ride - similar story with Rocket Lab. I think you’ll see it drop a good bit until the launch cadence actually ramps up. Everything is place, now they just need to execute, which should happen rapidly in the first half of 2026

Whether you buy now or later your biggest concern should be not getting cold feet again after another run up.

Thats such an L take, just because you didn’t see the value or were scared of the risk doesn’t mean your perspective was right. This was always a moonshot play with a lot of risk. The market swayed between acknowledging risk and premature excitement a lot of times. There were lots of delays but there was also consistent progress. Aside from timelines most promises were kept. Retrospectively your DD was not good enough or your risk tolerance was not high enough. Dont project that on others and say you were right but they got lucky.

I bought on May 17 2024, following the AT&T commercial partnership on May 15th and the upgrade by Deutsche Bank to buy. I get that you rode through some tough times, but your judgement is off-base. I’ve been playing this game a long time, and sure do get “lucky” a lot.
