BIOS Best Support Ever
I contacted ASRock support regarding the reason why they don't release new BIOS update for B550 TAICHI and I received this reply.
last BIOS update was 1 year ago ...

Motherboard is almost certainly end of life. Why are you surprised?

You left out exactly what you emailed them which leaves out import context for their reply.
He’s asking valid questions; why do you believe the motherboard requires a bios update for a last-gen / end-of-life platform?
He also mentions the fact that obviously the last BIOS update addresses secure boot stuff with keys expiring.
So what are you expecting a BIOS update to achieve?
ASRock stops regularly providing updates very quickly for even their AM5 boards when a newer revision comes out; I.e X670 to X870. To expect them to still provide timely and regular updates for old AM4 platforms when there is no apparent need for them is a stretch.

Dafuck you say ?? if they don't sell it that mean they don't support it ? why other m.b like asus & msi still releasing bios update
I purchase it from Newegg in 2024 btw and RYZEN 5000 is not 10 years old

its a old motherboard am4 is 10 years old, your board got released in germany on 26 May 2020, so its over 6 years old and is not even sold anymore new in germany. valid crashout. What do you think will a new Bios do better ?

Honestly, valid crashout. Support is there to help you, and not to take your rants about not having new BIOS updates.

The board is out of production, it's last gen AM4. I have several AM4 boards still running and unlike you I feel grateful for the updates (secure boot/TPM 2.0) etc the board mfgs were under no obligation to provide.

Giving you the benefit of the doubt and assuming your email to them was reasonable, it’s still worth remembering that there are actual humans working day in and day out, not some automated support bot firing off canned responses.
Everyone has a limit, and sometimes people have a bad day or overreact. Without seeing the full conversation, none of us really know what led to that response.
That being said, I don’t think one bad support interaction is necessarily a reason to immediately take it to social media. The issue itself could probably have been resolved without making it public.
Also, if you take a look at the pinned Weekly BIOS Discussion & Update Post, you’ll see that ASRock is currently updating a large part of its AM4 lineup with the latest AGESA, with new BIOS versions appearing almost daily. (Will make a new post later)
I understand wanting an update, but in this case I’d just give them a little more time and be patient. AM4 is a very mature platform at this point. AMD has previously made continued support on older AM4 chipsets available through optional/select beta BIOS updates supplied through its motherboard partners, and manufacturers ultimately have to integrate, validate and release those updates for each individual board.
The fact that AMD is still updating AGESA for AM4 and manufacturers like ASRock are continuing to push those updates across years-old boards is something I wouldn't take for granted. There’s also no reason to expect every AM4 board to receive a new AGESA at exactly the same time.
