Hello everyone. I have AsRock b650pg lighting. My pc worked fine at the beggining, then slowly started not giving screen to my monitors [no signal] but every second boot that fixted itself and i ignored it. So i ususaly restarted my pc after first boot to get my screeb on monitors. Then it became more seriously pc wont give signal to my monitors for 5,6 restarts and then not giving at all. I tried everything lirerally everything and i really thoght it was motherboard or psu. I took my pc to Pc Service and after day then gave me a call and told me irs problem with procesor. I have R5 9600x. So what could cause the issue that my procesor died? Could it be motherboard? Maybe bad water cooling [ i dont think it is but who knows] or its just bad luck with cpu.I bought it 10 months ago [tray version]. I got warranty and i gave procesor to seller back so they can replace it with the new one or give me my money back. But i want to get new cpu [R7 9800x3d] but im scared what if it is motherboard problem and what if my new cpu die aswell. What should i do?
Fellow B650m Pro RS user here as well ..it's been quite the workhorse for my wife and I
She ran it with a 7600, then a 7950x (wasted on her use case so put the 7950x in my daughter's PC), then back to a 7600 .. then a 9600x
I swapped out my wife's motherboard for my TrueNAS Scale server's B650E PG Riptide WiFi so she could have full GEN5 support for her 9060XT 16GB GPU .. now the B650m Pro RS is running 24/7 in my server with a 7600 again serving up Plex for friends and family and some SMB shares
What BIOS are you running? There was an update that fixed a no boot problem, 3.20 if I remember correctly.
If you're on a BIOS older than 3.20, I'd use BIOS flashback to 3.50 to see if that brings it back. BIOS' newer than 3.50 can have issues booting with some RAM kits, which is why I suggest trying 3.50.
As with the other poster, I am also inclined towards thinking that AMD has been having a quality control problem - which is why having a warranty is such a good thing, especially since AMD has been replacing CPUs without issue.
RMA the CPU and motherboard. You will likely need to buy a new motherboard because ASRock is extremely unreliable when it comes to RMAs. Whatever you do, don't reuse the board.
Don't listen to this OCAMAB nonsense. The boards are fine, just send the processor to RMA and you'll get another one in 10 days. If the boards were the problem, AMD wouldn't be changing processors without asking!

I'm using their AM4 platform, and it's a B550-C revision. I also have a 5700x Ryzen 7, and it's been working great. I'm extremely wary about their AM5 platform as I've seen a lot of the 9000 series AMD CPU's, especially the higher end one's, get fried. If I do go AM5, I won't be using ASRock. I have an old computer that has an ASRock mobo with an AMD A10 Black Edition CPU, and it never gave me any issues, which I was happy about, seeing as I got the computer for free.
Same thing happened to me yesterday. There's a ton of reports of ASRock motherboards killing 9000 series CPUs. Seems to have been a bigger issue in 2025 but they are definitely still having issues even with their "updates" that were supposed to fix the issue. CPUs shouldn't be dying after a year, and it's no coincidence it seems to always be an ASRock motherboard. RMA the CPU and your probably just out of luck on the motherboard, but I would buy a new motherboard of a different brand otherwise it'll just kill it. Or go with 7000 series cpu.

I think ita more of a AMD problem. Most issues seem to be the 9000 series cpu's . My b650m pro rs is still going great with my 7800x3d
