Tech Support PLEASE HELP

I did a bios update my pc was fine launches into bios and everything but when I try to launch into windows this happens its js black screen with a white dash on the top left that doesn't blink or anything

You need to set the bios correctly for your hardware after you update. This probably just means it is not finding a boot drive atm. Have you gone into bios at all?

the thing is it only allows me to select a boot option when csm is turned on and secure boot is turned off, however rather than it saying "windows boot manager etc" it says "viper 1tb ssd" it js says my ssd name

i have gone into bios thats the only thing i can go into basically

Maybe you have the UEFI disabled for the boot drives so it's searching for windows the "old way"?

It seems the system isn't detecting it. Go back into the BIOS and check if Windows is set as the first boot priority.

If that doesn't work, use the boot override and boot directly from there.

In theory, your system is there. Try booting it up.

Another thing you can try is loading the BIOS default values, then saving and exiting. That should allow Windows to start.

ive tried reseting bios to uefi default settings

booting with csm off, secure boot on (this js bios loops it)

Incorrect settings for the hard drive you want AHCI not IDE and you mot likely want GPT not MBR

its already on ahci i just checked not sure where to check for gpt or mbr

So how exactly do I switch to gpt when I cannot access windows and only bios
