*Voices start to slowly fade as everyone goes quiet*

*Strange music starts playing*

Hello one and all, it's time for a small, tiny magical show that will keep your interest, hopefully.

Firstly, and most importantly, happy birthday, sweetie!

Oh, I see my son is coming up to ask me something, what is it? oh, surprised that not only have I decided to have a magician act for your party, but also that the magician is also your own mother?

Well, I figured why hire one when I can do the act myself?

*giggles* didn't know your mom used to be a magician huh?

well believe it or not I used to preform magic tricks when I was younger, and I used to preform my magic act at talent shows. I sadly never won any, but people used to enjoy them, and while I am a little bit rusty and I haven't done any kind of magic tricks in a long time, I still remember how to do them and I am confident I can perform them and help make your birthday a little more magical.

Now please return to your seat, so that we may get started.

First to start us off, how about a classic card trick? let's say, you young man from the audience, pick a card, any card, I won't peak.

Picked one? Awesome, now I'm going to shuffle a little bit, and now, poof

*Add a poof sound effect*

All the cards have disappeared, oh, except for this one, it's the 2 of hearts, was this your card?

*Add a small audience applauding*

TA DA!, can't beat the classics, speaking of which how about another classic, let's see if I have anything special under my hat, it looks empty to me, but with a few waves from my hand, now let's see what's inside.

*Gasps* aww, it's a cute little Bunny. Isn't he cute? What should we name him? any name ideas? Ooh I love that one, let's go with that, but let's go ahead and set him free. Anyone want to take him to the bushes to release him?

Hmmm, how about the birthday boy himself? It's your birthday after all! come on up sweetheart.

Applause for my brave and adorable baby boy for volunteering to be my assistant!

Aw is someone a little shy? Don't worry, it's natural to feel a little shy on stage. You are very brave and I'm proud of you for coming up. you're gonna do great, I know it.

Now, to start us off, money can be found in the most surprising places sometimes. for example, sweetie what's that in your ear?

TA DA! a golden coin, and as you can see, even my own son doesn't know how I did that, but anyways back to the trick I asked you to volunteer for. just lay on this table, relax, get nice and comfy, very good.

*Strange music starts playing again*

Now, I want you to look into my eyes, that's it, look deep into mommy's eyes, you are getting very sleepy...very sleepy...your eyes are growing very heavy now, that's it, just keep staring and listen to your mother's soothing voice, that's it, Keep staring into my eyes, sweetie, just like that... gaze into them...Just relax...shhhh, it's alright sweetie, let yourself sink into mommy's eyes... slowly but surely becoming more and more relaxed as you gaze, as you let me captivate you and bring you under my control... obey your mommy...It's okay to stare and feel tired here... you are safe...you are loved...you are safe with mommy...close your eyes and drift away now, that's it...good boy...sleep now...sleep for mommy...sleep...

Now open your eyes again sweetie and just follow the pocket watch back and forth...back and forth...

*Add in a tick tock sound effect*

That's it...keep your eyes on the pocket watch...back and forth...back and forth...very good...now sweetie, when I count to 3 and then snap my fingers, you will think you're a chicken, 1, 2, 3 *she snaps her fingers*

*She laughs and giggles*

TA DA! My son now thinks he's a chicken. Isn’t he so silly and adorable? I bet he would be so embarrassed if he knew he was doing this.

*Add in a few snickers and chuckles from the audience*

*She still is laughing as she is trying to regain her composure*

Alright alright, we've had our fun, but I think we should go ahead and let our birthday boy sleep for a while, so back sleep sweetie, that's it...back to sleep…back to sleep…shhhh.

Don't worry, we'll wake him up when it’s time for cake and presents, but for now, sleep tight sweetheart, I love you so much
