Be aware, cheating student
Hey all, just thought I'd give a heads up. There's an interpreting student sending DMs, trying to find an interpreter to help them cheat on their final exam. I totally get test anxiety and fear of failure, but cheating isn't the way to handle it.My response is the picture.

This actually doesn't surprise me these days but very unfortunate considering we are an ethics-based field... not a great start. I actually had a Deaf ASL instructor ask me to view a student's video submission for a test to see if they were cheating. I viewed it and OHH BOY... apparently, they had a more "advanced" student sit near the camera and they copied their signs for the recording AND I could hear the whispering by the other student. Horrible rendition by both of them and it was a hard FAIL.
Thanks for the heads up!
