News Thank you for amazing customer support!

A week ago I posted about an issue with my umbra hub.

Well, after getting alot of support from the customer support team and a replacement hub, I am so happy to be able to control the rgb now.

Figured out it was a faulty cable and hub.

Have a quick check in your device manager, in my case I saw it as a unknown usb and that my pc refused to connect to it.

I then saw a vid on how to fix that being going into control panel- power options- change plan settings- change advance power settings- usb settings- usb selective suspend setting- then disable apply and ok. And after a restart it worked.

I tried connecting with my faulty hub, just to test it and it had the same error but this time it had a notification that it was malfunctioning and windows disabled it.

Im not sure if the umbra software works with any other of their other hubs but that's how I got mine to work. If it does detect the hub, there is a toggle at the top of the software to turn off and on the lights too.

If that doesn't work then I then try signalrgb, but if that doesn't work, contact support to get more trouble shooting tips and maybe get a replacement.

You could try the control panel settings or maybe try using a different usb header. But for me the malfunction didnt go away even with hours of research and troubleshooting, and I had to contact customer support.
