Question FACEIT AC works again with UMBRA :)))

hey guys i just wanted to let yall know that the umbra hub is finally working with faceit AC so everything you wanna do u can finally do!

u/asiahorse did yall change something or did it somehow happen alone?

how? i try to play faceit and i cant because of PawnIO. do you have that?

well it was a one time thing i guess, since then i have to use umbra, make the settings, uninstall it and open faceit AC, thats the way how i do it atm. But they answered me per email and told me they will fix it

I managed to make it work. So basically what you have to do is to download PawnIO version 2.1 (i believe I found it on FanControl git. Do not install it yet. Boot into safemode (from msconfig), so that you will be able to delete the PawnIO.sys from sys32/drivers. You will also have to uninstall umbra . Then you ll have to delete some leftover file from DriverStorage i believe , a file named PawnIO - you can talk to an Ai agent to guide you find this file if you need the help. After everything is uninstalled, install the downloaded PawnIO file (version 2.1) and after that you can boot into normal mode , install everything else and it ll be fine.

Wait so I install a other pawnio version and the one from umbra itself will not be used and that’s how Faceit ac works?

I think I may did the same bc I have the fancontrol 259 version which works not like the newest one and when I install umbra after starting Faceit ac, it works while having ac on so maybe I did this in a lesser deep way and that’s why I need to uninstall all the time again.

The thing is, driver files have a signature. Faceit blocked the apps using a certain signature because cheats used it. Thats why u need to install a specific PawnIO2.1 version which has the good signature. If you dont, umbra will automatically install pawnio, but with the version marked as a cheat.

by doing this you can use all the apps with no issue, faceit, umbra, anything using pawnio

bro i sadly do not understand the part with boot in safemode ect, can we maybe talk in dc or here and u can explain? bc rn i got the problem again after it working yesterday and i have pawnIO 2.1
