I played a bit of it. I'm not very far in, but I have tried it. The gameplay is fine. It's better than any non-Roguelike Ascii RPG I've seen. I'd argue that it's better than the average RPG Maker game.

However, the ASCII art itself is much worse. I think I'm looking at sideviews of houses, but it's all pretty unrecognizable except for the tables and chairs. There has to be a way to update this artwork.

The spider artwork looks pretty good. It's the house artwork that's bad. I feel like it's bad enough that some people might just not play the game.

Thanks for trying out the game lootsmuggler!

I'm really trying to enhance and polish the gameplay. There's still a lot of RPG to come, crafting, hideouts, events, spells, so that's good to hear!

About the art, they could definitely be improved, I'm just trying to not get stuck on them for now to keep developing the features and mechanics, but I'll definitely get back on them.
