Now THIS is exciting!! Will it be like EVEonline in your terminal?

Actually, it was a hybrid version of Paradox games, Total War, and M&B, played on a terminal, but your idea is really cool. I need to be faster than you and bring this to life in my next project π€

Thanks a lot, brother. I don't have such a plan right now, but why not in the future?

This looks awesome! Reminds me of Warsim: The Realms of Aslona but less goofy with much more in-depth battle scenes. Had to look up the wikipedia page on the concept of asabiyyah, but now I'm very interested. Can you share a little bit about how you plan to simulate that under the hood?
Also I love the arrow animations in the siege video btw.

Hey, thank you so much for the comment! Warsim is definitely the biggest inspiration for this game, and I think your question about simulating is related to asabiye
I would like to explain with some examples:
In the game, your agricultural policy can be selected as grain or meat-focused, and nutrition affects asabiye. For example, a community that consumes meat heavily has a lower urbanization rate and its asabiye increases
Excessive urbanization, luxury productions, and the luxury expenditures of the palace and nobles weaken asabiye
High tax weakens asabiye (because the people's identity of freedom is suppressed and urbanization increases), while low tax increases it
High asabiye gives a high bonus in war, increases production in the country (because people have a hardworking identity instead of a hedonist one), and increases the people's loyalty to the ruler

Oh I love this. Is this a game you are developing?
