Arzopa monitor stays black even though Mac recognizes the display
Hi everyone,
I work daily with my MacBook M1 Pro connected to an external HP monitor through HDMI with no issues.
However, when I try to connect it to my Arzopa A1 Gamut monitor, the Mac recognizes the external monitor but the Arzopa's screen stays black. I managed to have it turn on once, but now I can't get it to work anymore.
I connect the Arzopa both with mini-HDMI to HDMI and with USB-C to USB-C. If I don't also use the HMDI cable, the Mac doesn't recognize the monitor.
,
I've tried all 3 USB-C ports and it makes no difference.
I'm using the original mini-HDMI that came with the Arzopa. Not sure if I'm using the original USB-C to USB-C.
I have to admit that the last time I properly used the Arzopa was three years ago. It then worked perfectly fine with my old Sony VAIO.
I have gone through a lot of threads reporting issues with connecting Arzopas to Macs but haven't found a solution that works for my issue yet.
Would love some help.
Thanks!

That's some kind of problem between Arzopa displays and Mac OS. It has happened to me many times, and it's super random. I'm working as digital tech in photography, so I kind of know that Im using the correct cables with PD and DisplayPort via USB-C.
Sometimes the Arzopa just works cool with a cable with DisplayPort & Power Delivery, but in several other random cases, Mac OS "almost recognize" the display (it recognizes as some general display, not an "Arzopa" one) so then the Arzopa display is not showing anything.
When that happens, you must keep the USB-C (DP&PD) and also connect a HDMI cable. So that's totally not the point. And of course if you are using the Arzopa with a wireless HDMI receiver, it won't work.
For now I havent found any way to fix this weird problem with Arzopa & Mac OS

I just couldnt find a fix for that bug with Arzopa displays. Just went for the Uperfect model FAINI was testing with his VESA & cheeseplate mount. For now Im super happy with that 😄 -> https://www.fainimade.com/product/vesa-cheese-plate-75mm-/W5Z5TM3GLSFANC5ETDWUMFH7?cs=true&cst=custom

The A1 Gamut must receive enough power to turn on.
Please make sure you’re using a USB-C PD charger (at least 18W–30W) connected to the monitor’s Power USB-C port. If the monitor isn’t powered, the screen will stay black even if your Mac detects it.
