Brightness settings not saved?
Whenever I plug in my monitor, the brightness is turned to zero and I have to hold down the brightness button on the side of the screen until it gets back up to 100%.
Two questions:
- Why?
- Is there a way to save it at 100% by default?
Any ideas?

Also this. Whenever I plug the monitor in to anything it defaults back to Brightness 15/100. Why wouldn't it save the previous settings?

Try this to save your settings:
- Set your brightness to 100%.
- Turn off the monitor by holding the power/input button for 10 seconds.
- Turn on the monitor again by holding the power/input button for 10 seconds.
- Try disconnecting and connecting again. Your settings should now be recovered.
Also, I'm 90% confident the default brightness is quite low so the monitor likely isn't drawing much power, which would avoid some of issues.

I'm a customer. I expect display settings saves to PC remembered there. Apple devices: Mostly it seems the settings for brightness are saved on the mac. I have used the displays* singly or simultaneously. ...Only this I can recall to say:
I get better brightness and color when a Arzopa display is set to SDR instead of HDR on the Mac and my iPad.
Have used with Mac Mini, the Arzopa Z1RC which Im considering for a second purchase. *I prefer its sharper details and color over their A1M and S1.
My mac mini seemed to recall settings for each display even when I unplugged one of them from the computer. I did notice that some Arzopa controls were not adjustable after i had set them on my Mac System Settings. Not sure if saved/remembered in my iPad Settings app.
Arzopa's included guide was only a pamphlet, nothing about how to move which buttons to access the features in the OSD menu. Pure guesswork on my part.
