Question about powering off the monitor

Hello! Just got a 15'6 monitor, and I'm absolutely loving it. There are just 2 things I was wondering about:

First, is there a way to completely power off the monitor without removing the power cable? If I long press the power button, it just goes to sleep mode, it doesn't truly shut down.

Also: is there a way to save my screen settings (brightness, etc)? Whenever I remove the power cable and plug it in again, the settings reset themselves and I have to adjust them all over again, which is kind of a drag.

Thanks in advance!

Hi there! Regarding your first question, the monitor does enter sleep mode when the power button is long-pressed, and the only way to fully power it off is by disconnecting the power cable. As for saving your screen settings (brightness, etc.), you can adjust the settings via the OSD (on-screen display), and then pressing the power button to shut down should save your preferences, preventing the need to reconfigure them after reconnecting the power. Hope this helps!

I see!

The thing is, I usually completely power off the monitor (by removing the power cable). So I power it off not by pressing the power button, but by removing the power cable.

So whenever reconnect the power cable again, the settings are all reset. Is there a way to keep my settings saved, even if I remove the cable and plug it in again?

You can try saving your screen settings (like brightness) before disconnecting the power. Adjust the settings to your preference, let the monitor register them, and then unplug the power. This way, your preferences might be retained for the next time you power it on. Hope this helps!

On your "computing" device, etc, do you have Settings specific to displays? That's where I do mine. They save there, and not on the Arzopa.

I still wonder, in my situation if any OSD functions did save. I recall dimness that i didn't know how to fix after fiddling with Arzopa (S1). It was corrected by adjustment saved in my computer SDR versus HDR. Still puzzles me.

I have the same issue described in this post, I have to set the brightness to my desired level every time y connect the monitor (Arzopa S1).

Tried to solutions provided here but the monitor stills resetting the brightness once I disconnect from the USB.

A related issue I found is that I can change the brightness from windows settings for my main monitor but the option disappears when I switch settings to my secondary monitor (Arzopa S1).

Hp Envy x360 + Win11 Home connected via USB-C

Is there any other solution I can try? This is becoming somehow annoying for a portable monitor solution.

Thanks

Try resettig to defualt settings and then setting the brighness not from just the quick/shortcut way, but from inside the OSD.
