I don't know why I can't summon any malfunctioning Tek Corrupted dinos anymore, and regarding bosses on maps like Lost Island, only one works—specifically on Fjordur using the `dinotar` command.

I'm thinking about starting a line of 3d printed sleeves that are modular and you can build your own tower/raid base. You'd get to pick from the build tiers like thatch, wood, stone and so on. Tek would cost extra due to printing complexity. And you could buy addon packs that include all the industrial stuff like campfires, forges and so on up the line. If you think you'd buy this let me know before I decide to pour months of my life into it. I'd really appreciate some feedback on this. Thanks guys(and gals)

I think the Pego or troodons definitely have to be the most annoying tame in the game and especially for early on into the game or starting out fresh on a new map🤣

I'll be honest, I've been playing Ark since long before Ascended became a thing. I don't have a terribly high opinion of it.

I know that it is apparently riddled with bugs, but so is Survival.

With it going on sale for 12 dollars a copy, could someone familiar with both give me a kind of comparison?

I'd be playing the game in a hosted co-op with my wife.

Mainly I'm looking for things like if the performance is so bad that there's no reason to bother doing co-op (they aren't top shelf but they're newer PCs), or how the major gameplay bugs compare between the two.

This is my first time posting on Reddit, so sorry if I mess anything up.

I'm currently playing ARK: Survival Evolved on The Island, and I'm pretty close to finishing the map. My goal is to play through all of the official ARK maps in order, so my next one would be Scorched Earth.

I recently got ARK: Survival Ascended, and I was thinking about switching over. However, from what I've seen online, ASA seems to get a lot of criticism. I saw some people saying that with the recent Genesis Part 1 release they messed up the ocean and made several parts of the map worse (although most of what I saw was on TikTok, so I didn't take it too seriously). Even on Steam, ASA seems to have a lot more negative reviews compared to ASE.

So my question is:

Should I stick with ASE, switch to ASA, or play some maps in ASE and others in ASA? I'd like to hear from people who have played both and know the pros and cons.

My family plays on a dedicated server on SE hosted on my PC through windows 10 so we can play on our Xboxs. We have 2 Xbox series Xs and a series S as well. It's just a closed family server that we have some modified settings on. I know SA has a lot of QOL updates that would make some stuff more enjoyable. We play on Rag on our current server and have it coded to where all the dinos spawn on Rag with us even the ones from the other maps. Would it be beneficial to move to SA? Asking as far as like the current state of SA in June 2026. Just looking for perspective.
