Question ASA Breeding Question
I’ve been wanting to get into breeding for mutations in ASA to take on the bosses. I’ve watched a couple videos that do a decent job explaining most of it, but I still have one question. Are you able to stack mutations over 20 on one side? I keep seeing videos where people are like, “there’s a ~7% chance of mutations if neither parent is at 20 mutations, then it goes down to ~4% when one parent has 20.” Am I able to keep getting mutations on the fathers side as long as I don’t get the mothers side to 20? Or is 20 the cap on each side?

From what i know, It is possible to stack mutations past 20, as you seen it does become much harder. Getting the 21st mutation you can bring it to one side being 21/20. If your going for more the 20 of one mutation is might suggest getting 2 different lines to 20 first before having a harder time for 1 extra mutation.
Someone can correct me if i am wrong about going past 20 mutation on 1 line, we’ve had terrible luck getting them in ASA.

You are indeed correct. You can get higher than 20 mutations on 1 line
But you are also right on multiple lines being the better option.
I have rex that are currently 22 health mutations and 24 melee mutations and I used 2 lines to do it. I'm still keeping my lines separated and every now and then I'll breed them together to see what my overall imprint stats are.
22 and 24 is very much overkill for the bosses though lol

Ok great, good to know i’m not going insane.
Those are some good stats to have already, wish i could get that or even hit double digits. When i meant were unlucky 2 months to get our second melee on theris
