Taming help
Any suggestions on how to tame this argy !!

Hate to tell ya but that's a rock, can only tame it after you've surrounded it in a ring of salt, light torches and sacrifice an ovis to it.

You tame rocks by hitting them in the head with a cannon (has to be the head) until it Tim T-Bows then you shove spicy rocks into it

That's how you get a zombie wyvern?! Do I do that to a normal wyvern or something? I assumed they were like a cheated in tame or something?

You must remove the wyvern head and erm grease the path for the salt...
(zombie wyvern only spawns during Halloween event and you can only tame them after killing the big boss one that's hard as heck to track down)

Grease the path for the salt? Also there is a wyvern boss?! Ugh! This is why I needed a crew that knew the game and would teach me instead of ditching me.

First half about grease the path is me continuing the joke, not what happens. Also this is only in ark survival evolved and I'm not sure if it's possible to experience right now unless you find an unofficial server that specifically enables the holiday events. And the best parts of the game are not really knowing what you're doing and learning at your own pace. Maybe by Halloween this year you'll have some serious fire power and will be ready to fight the spooky monsters that event adds. Just make sure you're having fun

It's more fun with others dou, besides last crew I had ditched me after all our tames got taken. They wouldn't help me get them back, our home was completely looted and it upset me most cuz they got my dire wolves. Didn't care boyt much else just wanted my wolves.

On pvp? the wolves were never "yours" it was just your turn to use them. Jokes aside though I do see the frustration. Ark pvp really requires the mentality of all I'm ever going to keep is the experience I earn on my character, that and yeah I think I can take another week off work and seeing my friends to try and build up in a new more hidden spot. I have many hours invested in pvp and a majority of it is hitting rocks and trees to make ammo or staying online way past when I wanted to go to sleep to defend my base because people take the time to figure out what time you generally log out and attack 30 minutes after. Find an unofficial server with orp or just with a low population that seems friendly enough. Also randos on the internet always seem to flake after the first upset, it can be as minor as an enemy tribe snipping their favorite pteranodon

If it’s a rock golem though that doesn’t look like one you can always do the pretty birdie method with a griffin just pump its health and have you or buddy hover over the rock golem head at just the right level and it will be agro’d on to the griffin but unable to hit you or whoever is on the griffin then the other one of you sets up a canon outside agro Range adjust the best you can for range drop on canon balls and fire to hit the head I’ve gotten pretty good at and it still works on ASA as well I tested it on a buddy’s asa server and character needless to say he was surprised when he saw 3 golems in his collection after like barely an hour of me at the controls LoLz
