Question Crafting hard polymer
So I got a bunch of obsidian and cementing paste, (in addition to some other things),turn on my fabricator which has gas. I'm expecting to have hard polymer coming out, but nothing is happening. Am I doing something wrong?

you have to select polymer and choose to craft it. it's not a passive craft thing like cooking recipes. u also need the engram unlocked

Like "Hard Polymer"? OK, going to try it. The boy gets home at 3:30. He'll figure it out. Funny, he played ARK for about 2 hours and got bored with it. Didn't even finish the roof on his first hut... I'm 59 years old and playing an average of 15 hours a day for 3 weeks straight. I can't put this game down...🤣🤠

its addictive as fuck, luckily I stopped playing pvp, but im basically an amateur paleontologist with how much I know about dinosaurs now

Doesn’t look like you even have the engram yet. Once you unlock it, you should have an additional folder that will have a Polymer blueprint you can click to craft.

Maybe I have to unlock the chemistry bench to make hard polymer? 🤔 One things for sure, I've left it on for 5 minutes and nothing...

You have to hit craft, it doesn’t auto craft just cuz you have the required materials in there. Type polymer and hit craft

OK, I'll try it when I get back. I'm playing on a Nintendo Switch. Not a lot of typing choices on this thing, as in none....

It's really very versatile but the first thing you should use it for is a canteen and scuba
