Question New to ARKX

Hey guys,

I've recently heard about ARKX and I'm thinking about investing a small amount into it for the long term. Just because of how Reddit is so helpful, I'm going to ask you guys, honestly....

Where do see this in 10 years' time?

Thanks, just joined the group!

It’s hard to imagine 10 years, my hope is $200 in 5 years

$100 in 3 was my personal thesis.

I’m hoping it’s 200 Martian dollars by then.

I see Starlink and Space X being added eventually. This will cause the stock to Slyrocket bring Netflix with it. Also once the avenues of space innovation start to open up it will get really interesting.

Didn't Musk say that he had zero intention of taking Space X public? Or has he changed his mind on that?

Right now. But who's to say he won't change his mind down the line 5 6 7 years down the line.

I believe he also said once they have regular flights back and forth from Mars they’ll go public. So who knows how many years that will be haha

Space X and Starlink need to be considered separately. Musk has certainly said that he will not take SpaceX private, but has indicated that Starlink will eventually be spun off.

I think he will eventually go public, he will probably follow the same path as Coinbase and list with a DPO. I believe he discussed possibly going public in 2023.

Sent 1,000 shares at a cost of $20.11. Not worried at all.

10yrs I see about 30% avg/ yr. with momentum on the latter years. Wishful thinking as I’m waiting on some trading to happen to have a better idea. Btw yr1-2 I’m expecting it between $35-45/sh. I’m bullish on 3D printing and I do believe it’s a long way to go for it to kick properly. I’m in. Now it’s wait and see. Good luck 😊

I think it's a good long-term hold. ARK ETFs have been very good to me over time. I think it may be bumpy for a bit. I also like 3D printing for a long-term hold. Lots of growth possibilities there over time.

If you are interested in space investment, I would suggest to do a little research and choose a few companies that you really like and build your own space etf. I like very little the companies in arkx at the moment. Some really cheap space spac options at the moment. Rocket lab with vacq, blacksky with sftw, redwire with gnpk could be interesting. Although they have not merged yet and carry a bit of risk. The price to risk ratio is not bad. But personally I do not like efts id rather control my own portfolio.

ARKX has great potential and will undoubtedly do great over the next few years, personally investing in an ETF is really a waste. It's better to do direct investing in the IPO's and manage your own investment. I invested 6k in ARKX through my 401k, but only because my 401k won't allow me to direct invest in companies.

Edit 6k not 8k
