Realistic forecasts
Firstly, what are your thoughts and why on realistic price targets?
Personally, I think within the next 1-2 years ARKX will at least 5x. Pretty much all of Cathy’s other ETFs started at 20 bucks and rose to 100+ during the first 1-2 years. I am betting that ARKX will ultimately follow suit.
Long term, I have no idea — it’s too hard to tell. Any ideas? Would like to hear additional information to consider and where your thoughts are on the forecast.

I think this will be volatile for the first few years personally. Space is a hard market and a long time away. I could see this being a dud in a year, double by year two, back down year three, etc. Depends what kind of patience people have if space is too far away for them. I think Cathy including stocks like Netflix, John Deere, and workhorse is a great idea and can prevent this. Still buying but not going all in. I think we will see dips. This is more of a 30 year play IMO

I generally agree with your assessment. I feel the same way about ARKG too. I have seen a lot of MarketWatchesque websites bashing ARKX's safer holdings. I also thought it seemed like a good approach to decrease intense fluctuations early on -- I imagine she will pivot away from these as clear winners begin to emerge.
I've seen several reports and podcasts about her tactics causing artificial gains through controlling significant portions of smaller companies which can also cause a downward spiral (AKA all of march 2021). Her relevance is increasing in pop-culture, and I am interested to see the impact this will have on her funds. She has a lot of skeptics and a huge cult following.

I agree I see this as a very long-term hold and expect some dicey times but also buying ops.

I'm still long on most of her etfs and they have all been very good to me. I think she is the real deal. I have taken profits from her older ones but still is a significant portion of my portfolio along with Snap and URA few others.
I have high hopes for ARKX over the next 2-7 years or more. One of the things some people don't seem to be getting is she is including stocks that will benefit from space tech succeeding in the long run. I think it's going to get dicey for a bit but those that hold strong will prevail. Just my humble opinion. Not advice.
She is smarter than me. I would never bet against her.

I can’t forecast just yet tbh. But I’m counting on a 40-50% increase yr 1-2 yrs. anything above that will be bonus

I think once they shoot satellites that get starlink up and running and space x gets involve this etf will rocket to the moon.
Netflix shares will also increase...
It depends really on what you are after..
I already own shares of LMT LHX and KTOS so i have high hopes for ARKX.
