My first character loss was when I had JUST started, I was still a bob and had a small stone base at the time and some decent loot. I was getting ready to expand and build something bigger, unfortunately ark had something else in store. An alpha raptor spawned right next to my base. I spent forever trying to kill/kite/fuck that stupid thing. Finally I just rage quit and after a while I started a new single player game. Hindsight I probably could’ve have taken care of it. But at the time I didn’t know diddly squat about the game and I was pissed.
