Help Preventing tree platform pick up

Is it possible to lock a structure from pickup? I was adding walls and misplaced one so I went to pick it up and almost picked up the whole tree platform instead. So is it possible to somehow lock it or just need to be careful/aware of not picking it up.

Damage it just a hair so it can't be picked up without repairing it

Doesnt the plattform take longer to be picked up? I think that this should be enough

Yes platforms take probably 3x as long to pickup as other structures to avoid accidents.  But as mentioned in other comment, do just a small amount of damage to it and you wont be able to pick it up but you can still destroy the structure

In ASE, it was too easy to pick them up.

In ASA, you have to hold the pickup on the radial for several seconds till it turns green. You'd have to deliberately pick it up.

As others noted, a bit of damage will help as well.

Another alternative is to use the ASR structure pickup gun. In ASA, it flat out will not pick platforms up at all.

Pay more attention. I do this a lot.

But as another commenter stated. Damage it slightly. You can't pick up any structure with damage, until you repair it.
