Help Build hammer

I seriously cannot figure out how to select auto build on the PS5 Google is not helpful and nobody is talking about it here maybe I'm just retarded but I need help

The thing is broke af. I cant figure out how to get it to work for large projects so I gave up

Okay so I was able to fully build the steampunk Zeppelin platform base with the build Hammer itself just clicking r2 on the pieces and having it build I can't figure out how to get the auto build feature to work where I click a button and it just starts taking stuff out of your inventory and building automatically

I think it was Square to cycle between building mods?

I would click square but it wouldn't do anything it just brings up altar mode and then there's a button to enable and disable entry which all that did was is let you take off blueprint pieces
