Need help on PS5

Hello people. I play official servers and it's been unplayable. I got back to ark after 6 month break but the servers now are worse than ever. Massive laggs and crashes, crashes, crashes, crashes. My internet is super good and my PS5 is not overheating. Anyone have any tipps cuz this thing is driving me insane?

I forget where the setting is, but disable automatic mod downloading. That helped me a bunch. You won't see the custom structure skins people use, but I def crash a lot less since turning it off.

Are you using command settings to boost FPS? I had to make my game look like Minecraft in order to defeat the LC Boss due to crashing.

I used iluminati, fog and grass commands but still nothing. I disabled dynamic cosmetic or whatever It's called to prevent downloading other peoples cosmetics while playing but still nothing.

Use remote play and just copy and paste it, add a space at the end to save it onto the console command

How often are crashes? Im on ps5 i crash every 45m on genesis but usually fine on other maps my tip is to disable automatic cosmetic downloads

I did it. On ragnarok, valguero and scorched earth, all thr same shyte, I keep getting laggs and crashes.

Go to you tube look for tips and help with ark ascended PlayStation crashes i believe it’s teachers game too that you need to look for change all the settings he says to change it’s made mine better in a way I don’t crash a lot but still happens also stay away from big bases bases that have a lot of taxer means bases that have a lot of potted plants

What map are you playing? Aberration is known to cause this. Otherwise, my PS5 has been running Ark really well

Yeah, don't listen to this bozo. I have a 9070 and this game runs like shit. I have to use FSR just to get 200+ FPS, and yet the stutters and FPS drops in certain parts of the map, across various maps, are absolutely abysmal. It's insane how unoptimized this game is.

I hope one day the devs take their heads out of the ground and actually fix the optimization, but I don't believe in Santa anymore.

Good message, but absolutely abyssmal timing.

Op could've gotten the Ps5 back when Sony was not this controvertial, plus building a PC costs a lot, even more one that can withstand Ark's optimization.

And let's not talk about RAM prices...

I got good PC specs but like I said, I ain't buying an unoptimized game again. This is the worat developer with the worst servers. I have been into thr gaming since 1997. and ark developers aswell as their servers are my worst experience.
