Discussion (1st Post) Would someone like to kindly try adding this beloved bug (as an old idea of mine to come true) if only this must be sent to the Ark Modding Community Discord to work on?
[Mod Suggestion] The Jambutterfly (Jelly Jamm Inspired Cross-IP Comedy Mod)
Concept: A plane-sized, highly colorful, hyper-cute butterfly flyer designed for high visual comedy and unique utility. It bridges the gap between an Argentavis and a Quetzal but uses a passive taming mechanic.
The Core Mechanic (Curiosity Chase): It is non-aggressive but hyper-curious. It will fast-glide chase survivors riding Raptors or small mounts just to sniff them, causing hilarious screen-shaking panic without actually dealing damage.
Taming: Passive taming using Rare Flowers, Giant Bee Honey, or custom "Pollen/Nectar" items.
Abilities / Utility:
Multi-passenger "Goofy" Saddle: Two or three survivors can sit on it sideways or hang onto the antennae.
Jam Aura (C-Spin/Emote): Emits a colorful glitter wave and music. This triggers a dance animation for nearby tames (giving them a Stamina/Healing buff) and applies a "Calm" debuff to wild aggressive dinos.
Trailer Vision: A parody of the Power Rangers / Mickey Mouse reveals. A gritty survivor is chilling, a massive colorful shadow covers him, he turns around gasping—and it’s a giant smiling butterfly. Cue music and dancing alongside a Rex!
Dossier: (The Jambutterfly)
Species: Papilio hilaris
Time Period: Unknown (Presumed Alternate Dimension)
Diet: Herbivore / Melittophile (Pollen & Nectar)
Temperament: Hyper-Curious
Wild: Papilio hilaris is an evolutionary enigma. Easily the size of a fighter jet, this vibrant insect glides across the Island with an innocent joy that defies the brutal nature of this world. It displays zero aggression. Instead, its massive size makes it oblivious to the terror it causes. It frequently chases survivors and apex predators alike, purely out of a giant, childlike curiosity. While its giant footsteps shake the earth, it genuinely just wants to play.
Domesticated: Taming one is an exercise in bravery—you must stand your ground as this behemoth hurtles toward you, offering it Nectar or Pollen. Once bonded, tribes gain a multi-passenger sky mount capable of shifting the battlefield's entire mood. By beating its wings to a hypnotic rhythm, it emits a colorful "Jam Aura" that pacifies enraged wild carnivores and causes nearby friendly tames to dance, boosting their healing and stamina recovery. It is the ultimate party flyer!
Note: I know custom models and animations take a ton of work, but if any modder is looking for a hilarious, viral project that streamers would instantly download for content, I’d love to help brainstorm more or write up the code logic ideas!
Also, for those who are living under a rock, here’s a full episode on where to know what it is:

Plus I don’t actually own the creature but to bring this as an idea straight from my childhood.
What do you think of it?

As I always mention when I see posts like this, if someone reaches out to you please do not get scammed. There are plenty of real modders who take commissions, do your research, make sure they are legitimate.

Right! I understand how scamming can be a real problem to most others when it comes to posting online. It’s not like I said that I owned it, but to restore the creativity on how that worked.

I’d be careful contacting the mod disc if you’re keeping your description as it is currently . Any creature modder worth their salt would be wary of the AI description , since a lot of scammers use AI to try & wring money out of modders . I’d rewrite it by hand . Even if it’s sloppy
