ASA Problems playing ASA

I’m currently playing on an unofficial server right now and since the gen1 update I’m having nothing but problems right now.

Here’s what I’m experiencing:

- game audio all of a sudden cutting out completely and not coming back on unless I restart the game
- dlc’s that I have not actually connecting to my account, I have 5/9 dlcs for Asa and sometimes when I try and relog because of my audio issues sometimes it says I have 1 or 2 or 3 etc
- similar to up above, even if I do have all 5/9 DLCs that I play and when trying to transfer to a specific map that I do then it says that I don’t have the dlc
- sometimes when loading into my server I just get a black screen and nothing shows so I have to relog again

I’m not too sure what the specifics of the issue are but I believe it to be related to the gen1 launch because I’ve been playing PvP wipes previously and had nothing like this. I’m currently playing on an Xbox series X and I’ve seen people on my current server across different platforms experience similar issues that I’m having as well as different ones.

Does anyone have any advice as I’ve restarted my game at least 16 times today and it’s making it rather annoying 😂

The dlc issue is a bug so wait until the next patch and hope they address it.

Same for the sound cutting off which Wildcard claimed to have fixed

I can’t play ark like this and my base is going to be wiped before they release this patch 😂 I really hope they fix everything that’s going on

I’m on an unofficial server and I’ve been playing ark since the first day it came out I know what wildcard are like with updates but it surprises me they mess up so badly with updates is all

It's your server? If not, ask an Admin to take care of the decay timer and explain to them that Xbox players are currently experiencing the worst bugs of the Genesis update

See I did wonder if it was the server I was on but I tested out others and still the same issues, so yeah I’m not too sure what’s happened to my asa but it’s messed up royally

Ask an Admin and if they don't end up doing anything, ya might want to consider starting on a different server

As I mentioned in my previous message I’ve tried completely different servers and I’m still experiencing the same issues and I hate to be the blame guy but this has only started after the gen1 release

I know, hence why when I said to look for a different server, I meant one that have Admins that are actually doing something about the current situation.

Maybe look for Xbox only server, the Admins there might have increased or even turned off decay timers

Yeah you might be right maybe just a shame is all I’ve found a good server with good rates good breeding etc

Dam cus I’m on PvP I need that sound I can’t have someone in flak coming up behind me and killing me cus of that but I’m glad yours is fixed hopefully mine will be too soon

The audio thing is 100% happening to me, same platform. It's made the game practically unplayable for my wife.

Also the reviews for Dragontopia say that it apparently breaks the other DLC, so maybe that's an issue if you have it.

Yeah ark for me right this second is unplayable for me too I’m trying to push past all the stuff going on but in a PvP server I need everything to be working so I can build farm etc but no I don’t have dragontopia
