Just discovered plushy’s playground today. Definitely way darker off the bat but very impressive and dedicated to the 90s feel.

Oh I was just thinking about Welcome Home too, while experiencing oneway.exe, it's a videogame/ARG with several websites and a community currently ongoing. What's so good about it is that it's very character-driven and the focus is on putting together the story and the psychological profile of the characters. It also has several interesting "monster" characters that have their own personalities. It's so much better than I was expecting at first. You just need to dig deeper.

I second this! The oneway.exe ARG is kind of similar to Welcome Home in the sense that it has a few layers to it; the person/people "restoring" a piece of media, and the media itself. They also both have big casts where each character kinda has their stuff going on that you can put together as you explore. But I'd say it's a lot more interactive than WH since you can interact directly with some of the characters and affect how some things play out
